Design

The primary role of the primary library is to ensure that users who want to read can do it. For that reason, my main objective is that the space is inviting, comfortable, and with an atmosphere that allow children to read.

If the space is not big enough to create different sections (reading and group working) I put the priority on reading, considering that there are other spaces for working in the school (classrooms, computer room, etc.).

Open spaces with colors, round forms and comfortable seats and carpets, decorations with elements that spark the love for imagining (literature characters, magic elements, etc.) are essential to create that story time feeling.

Try to decorate with meaningful elements that you can use later. For example, if you put balloons on the ceiling, think about which activity can you do with them.
